Anger and Depression

Anger and depression must be meet head on with the solution offered by the Steps lest we return to the bottle. We have ingrained reaction patterns born of fear. We no longer can rely on our solutions because these inevitably led to drinking. We had to find a way to stop this failure of self reliance and this was by working the Steps.
