�Take Time To Think The Thing Through!� and �Play the tape all the way through!� (sayings heard Around The Tables). The Seven T's and Play the Tape is to help us remember that drinking thinking is insanity. Though ultimately we are to reach the conclusions 1. to see the insanity of picking up (problem), 2. to see the solution (we can't, God can) 3. to enact the solution (ask for help) Half measures availed us nothing. We have to come to the conclusion that we need God. See: self reliance
